The Award for Sustained Contributions is made to an individual who has a track record for publishing relevant articles of consistently high quality and impact in the primary, peer-reviewed, biomedical literature over a minimum of 20 years. Emphasis is placed on the significance and impact of the nominee's contributions to the biomedical literature, rather than quantity of articles. Ten (10) of the candidate's most significant original, peer-reviewed articles will be evaluated in this award category.
